Real-life marrieds Tea Leoni and Tim Daly play the couple, with Jamie Lee Curtis recurring as guest star. Meanwhile, “Sunset P.I.” brings Jake Johnson to the screen in a comedy that NBC cheekily says “continues the proud tradition of Los Angeles private eyes that began with Philip Marlowe and will end with this show.”
