Laura Dern is set to reteam with longtime collaborator Mike White — the duo previously worked together on “Year of the Dog” and the HBO series “Enlightened” — for the fourth season of “The White Lotus,” reports Deadline. Dern joins the cast following Helena Bonham Carter’s exit; HBO explained that Bonham Carter’s character hadn’t fit the direction of the story. Dern will portray an entirely new role.
