Vanilla Ice Goes Amish is back for season two Saturday at 10p on DIY, but the rapper/renovator’s mission to learn the art of hand craftsmanship isn’t the last we’ll see of the simple-living sect. “The Amish continue to be a fascinating subculture for viewers,” Robert Horowitz, Juma Entertainment president tells Cynopsis. “The cooperation our DIY Scripps crews have received from the Amish community in Ohio has led to a spinoff series we currently have in production.”

Under the Dome will be back for season three and Extant for a sophomore run on CBS this summer. “We’re committed to delivering our viewers and advertisers year-round programming,” said Nina Tassler, chairman, CBS Entertainment. Dome averaged 11 million viewers and 2.7/8 among A18-49 during summer 2014, while Extant earned 8.6 million viewers and 1.7/6 in the demo. Joining the two Amblin Television series in summer 2015 are freshman drama Zoo and more Big Brother. Not invited: legal drama Reckless.

James Earl Jones will reprise his Darth Vader role for animated movie Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion, airing on ABC Sunday, October 26 at 7p. The one-hour special premiered on Disney and Disney X D to launch a series on Disney X D, but, “We wanted to do something special for the ABC broadcast,” said exec producer Dave Filoni. A scene was added that includes Jones in a cameo as the Sith Lord.
