This season conclusion was the highest-rated episode for the series to date and also the highest-rated telecast for VH1 since the VH1 Hip Hop Honors in October, 2009. Charlie Sheen received a pink slip yesterday from Warner Bros. Television which ends his contract as star of Two and a Half Men on CBS. Sheen had one more season left on his contract with Warner Bros. for the comedy series. The studio did not say what will happen to the sitcom in the future, keeping their released statement confined to their decision on the now former star: “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on Two and a Half Men effective immediately.”

Marc Anthony landed a regular series role on Hawthorne, the TNT drama series starring and executive produced by Jada Pinkett Smith.
