Picture Box Distribution, based in Canada, sold its lifestyle series Anna and Kristina’s Grocery Bag to OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. The series, produced by Worldwide Bag Media Inc. in association with Canada’s W Network, follows hosts Anna Wallner and Kristina Matisic as they put popular cookbooks to the test by trying out and reviewing recipes, ingredients, appliances and more to see if they can recreate the beautifully styled meals in the cookbooks. OWN will air the series in its daytime block beginning January 3. Picture Box has also sold the series to MTV Finland, Vivolta in France, Poland’s Canal +, Italy’s Beep Omnimedia, LiTV in Asia, TV Paprika in Hungary and MGM in Latin America.
