The NFL is taking note of football being a major viewing driver. While the league is in the early years of a $120 billion deal that extends until the early 2030s, the league is expected to open negotiations to revise its broadcast and streaming contracts as early as this year, reports the New York Times. “As we look around at the incredible viewership we had this year, and we look at this sports rights marketplace, we think the value of NFL rights have only increased,” said Hans Schroeder, the league’s EVP of Media Distribution, in an interview. The NFL tied down its last package of media rights deals in way back in 2021, when streamers weren’t yet a force in the live sports business.

“Rooster Fighter” joins Adult Swim on Saturday, March 14 at midnight. “‘Rooster Fighter’ is the kind of show that immediately answers the question ‘yes, but what if a rooster did it?’ and then never looks back,” said Michael Ouweleen, President, Adult Swim. “It’s ridiculous, wildly sincere, and packed with talon-powered action.”
Season 19 of period detective drama “Murdoch Mysteries” hits Acorn TV on Monday, March 2.
