The third season of FX’s American Horror Story will be subtitled Coven and be shot, in part, in New Orleans, marking the first time the show will go on location. Series creator Ryan Murphy confirmed the news at the closing night of the 30th annual PaleyFest on March 15. Jessica Lange will be back for season three as well as Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe. Joining the series will be Kathy Bates, who’s set to play Lange’s former best friend turned enemy.

Bad news, Bachelor Nation. Mike Fleiss, creator/producer of the ABC series The Bachelor and its spinoffs, took to Twitter to announce that there won’t be a fourth edition of Bachelor Pad this summer, and the network has confirmed it. Bachelor Pad, which debuted in August of 2010, featured contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette who lived together and competed for a cash prize of $250,000.

GLAAD (The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) handed out awards to NBC‘s Smash and CBS‘ The Amazing Race during their 24th annual Media Awards ceremony in New York on Saturday, March 16. The group – that honors openly gay media professionals who’ve made a difference in promoting equality – named Smash Outstanding Drama Series and The Amazing Race as Outstanding Reality Program.

To celebrate the 100th episode of Psych, Cloo is giving fans the chance to relive the entire series with the ultimate marathon, 99 Psychs on the Wall. IFC is upping its comedy quotient and star power. The cable network has greenlit two new series. First up: The Spoils of Babylon, an epic spoof from Funny or Die and executive producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Matt Piedmont, and Andrew Steele. “This is a crazy and maybe even a stupid idea,” said Ferrell of the project. “IFC is either really courageous or really stupid, which makes them the perfect partner for us.” The series will have an ensemble cast and is slated to air in 2013. IFC is also moving forward with the new scripted sketch comedy The Birthday Boys, executive produced by Ben Stiller and Bob Odenkirk. The show originally began and found success with viral videos on online.

E!’s Fashion Police will salute the fashion-conscious men and women of professional sports with the month-long celebration Fash Fabness, premiering Friday, March 8 at 10p. A wide range of sports-related celebrities, from boxer Laila Ali to Super Bowl champion Dennis Pitta and NASCAR great Jeff Gordon, will visit the show throughout the month as Joan Rivers and her style posse count down the 16 most fashionable athletes of the year. Fash Fabness will culminate with the announcement of the most fashion-forward athlete on March 29 at 10p.

Hosted by Melissa Peterman (host of ABC Family’s Baby Daddy), the competition features toddlers performing various challenges from stacking cookies to cleaning up toys. The parents guess their child’s next move in hopes of winning money toward their college fund. The show debuts Saturday, April 6 at 8p.

Judge Reinhold is joining the cast of the CBS pilot Beverly Hills Cop, the drama, described as a continuation of the movie franchise. Reinhold will reprise his role as Axel Foley’s partner, Billy Rosewood. The project will reunite Reinhold with Eddie Murphy, who’s also set to resurrect his role as Axel.

The series centers on Tom, a former priest who becomes a lawyer to prevent his politician sister from being assassinated.
