California is putting its money where its mouth is. The state just approved tax creditsto nine new television productions, including “Clueless,” “The Rockford Files,” “Newlyweds,” “Ascent,” “Love Comes Softly,” “Swat Exiles,” and several unnamed series. This marks the second year since California first expanded its Film and Television Tax Credit Program to double the funding in 2025. According to Governor Gavin Newsom’s office, the productions will generate roughly $608 million in production spending across the state.

The two episodes premiere on September 20.
