Peacock’s ad-free Premium Plus tier is coming to Roku Premium Subscriptions through a new deal between NBCUniversal and Roku. The top-tier plan remains ad-free except for live sports and includes offline downloads and access to geo-targeted local TV stations. It’s priced at $16.99 per month or $169.99 annually, with availability on Roku expected shortly.

YouTube is rolling out its likeness detection technology to the entertainment industry, expanding a tool designed to identify AI-generated content – such as deepfakes of a person’s face – and allow individuals to flag and request its removal. The company began testing the feature last month with a select group of government officials, journalists, and political candidates.

NATAS announced the emcees – all co-hosts of CNN’s “Have I Got News for You” – and lifetime achievement honorees for the 47th Annual Sports Emmy Awards and the 47th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards, taking place in NYC. Comedian Roy Wood Jr. will host the sports ceremony, with sports media exec Steve Bornstein collecting the lifetime achievement honor on May 26. The event celebrating news categories will honor ABC News correspondent Martha Raddatz at a ceremony hosted by Amber Ruffin. And on May 28, documentarian Sam Pollard will be honored, and comedian Michael Ian Black will host.

Disney has inked a content development deal with Lenny Pearce, pioneer of Toddler Techno and Family Raves. As part of the deal, Pearce will develop new original animated content inspired by the “Toddler Techno” remix versions of its shows for Disney+. Additionally, Disney Music Group will release Pearce’s next album, “Disney Jr. Music: Lenny Pearce Toddler Techno,” on May 15, featuring remixed versions of Disney Jr. favorites with a modern twist. The first remixed single, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme (Toddler Techno Remix),” will be available April 24.
