The week of October 13 was just the second in 2025 where no title crossed the billion-minute mark in Nielsen’s Streaming Top 10. Nielsen notes the week was heavy with live sports – the MLB playoffs, NFL and college football, Week 2 of NHL’s regular season, Formula 1’s United States Grand Prix— which likely had an impact on streaming usage. Netflix’s “Monster: The Ed Gein Story” maintained the #1 overall position for a third consecutive week with 979 million minutes, followed by British historical drama “Poldark.”
