Amazon Ads shared a milestone at its annual unBoxed conference on Tuesday: Prime Video now has an average monthly ad-supported reach of more than 315 million viewers globally, up from 200 million in April 2024. “Reaching more than 315 million average monthly ad-supported viewers globally marks a transformative milestone for Prime Video,” said Jeremy Helfand, Vice President, Prime Video Advertising. “This expanded audience across 16 countries demonstrates our customer-obsessed approach to enhancing the viewing experience while delivering powerful opportunities for brands. We’re just beginning to unlock what’s possible when premium entertainment, engaged viewers, and innovative ad-tech converge with relevant and performant advertising at this unprecedented scale.”

Disney’s blackout on YouTube TV is costing the company $30 million per week, estimate Morgan Stanley analylsts Benjamin Swinburne and Thomas Yeh. Their financial forecast for Disney’s fourth quarter included “layering in 14 days of impact from the ongoing YouTube TV blackout, which we estimate is a $60mm revenue headwind.” A carriage dispute forced Disney off YouTube TV on October 30.

Tomorrow Studios (“The Better Sister”), an ITV Studios partner, has acquired Don’t Let the Devil Ride: A Novel, by Ace Atkins. Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker (“Marvel’s Luke Cage”) is adapting the bestseller for television.

Netflix is bringing back “Luther” – and Idris Elba – for a film sequel to “Luther: The Fallen Sun.” Dermot Crowely and Ruth Wilson are also returning. The TV series originally ran on BBC One from 2010-19.

Production has commenced on season two of HBO drama “Dune: Prophecy.” Filming is taking place in Hungary, Jordan, and Spain.

FOX announced its Winter 2026 premiere dates, including new series “Best Medicine” (Tuesday, January 6 at 8p), “Memory of a Killer” (Wednesday, Monday, January 26 at 9p), and reality show “Fear Factor: House of Fear” on Wednesday, January 14 at 9p.

Season four of Peacock’s “The Traitors” premieres Thursday, January 8 at 9p. The reality show has also been renewed for a fifth season.

Hulu’s “Tell Me Lies” returns for its third season on Tuesday, January 13 with two episodes. The drama follows a couple who have rekindled their tumultuous romance.

From November 15 through January 6, Canela.TV is celebrating the holidays with Fiestas en Familia, a programming event that includes movies and themed episodes of series. Club Canela, the platform’s free loyalty program, will offer “exclusive surprises” for registered users.

Food Network’s “Bobby’s Triple Threat” wrapped its fourth season averaging 0.6 P25-54 / 0.53 W25-54 L+3 rating, up +12% and +8% respectively vs. the prior season. The ten-episode run also delivered the series’ highest-rated season ever among M25-54 (0.40 L+3 rating), growing +18% vs. the prior season. 

News NY1’s coverage of the NYC mayoral results on Tuesday, November 4 delivered +182% its average viewership between 8-11p. Among Spectrum households, NY1 was the most-watched network on election night.
