Disney+ will end its relationship with the BBC’s “Doctor Who” after two seasons and an upcoming spinoff — “The War Between the Land and Sea” — according to reports. The BBC said it is committed to continuing the iconic series and said current showrunner Russell Davies has penned a Christmas special for 2026. “We can assure fans, the Doctor is not going anywhere, and we will be announcing plans for the next series in due course, which will ensure the TARDIS remains at the heart of the BBC,” said BBC drama director Lindsay Salt.
