Netflix honored the late Jane Goodall with the release of the first episodeof docuseries, “Famous Last Words.” The segment, taped earlier this year, includes the last interview with the iconic British primatologist and environmental advocate, who died October 1 at age 91. At the end of the interview, Goodall looks at the camera and speaks unedited with a message for humanity. “Jane Goodall was fearless in all things,” said Brad Falchuk, Executive Producer. “She deeply loved humanity and the natural world. It was clear to me in our conversation that she was approaching her final adventure with the same fearlessness, hope, humor and joy that she approached everything else in life.” The docuseries features late-in-life interviews with famous people, which are kept under wraps until the subject dies.

Fox has officially canceled “The Great North” after five seasons. The animated series followed the adventures of a family in Alaska. “It’s difficult to say goodbye, but we’re thankful for the five hilarious seasons ‘The Great North’ brought to the iconic Animation Domination lineup,” said Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network. The cancellation didn’t come as a complete surprise – while “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” “Bob’s Burgers” and “American Dad!” got four-year pick-ups in April, “The Great North” was left out in the cold.
