CBS has added “Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen” to its late-night lineup for the 2025-2026 season. The Allen-hosted comedy talk show, with a rotating panel of comedians that includes Kevin Hart, Sebastian Maniscalco, Howie Mandel and Tiffany Haddish, to name a few, will air back-to-back, half-hour episodes Monday through Friday following “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” beginning Monday, September 22.

Hoda Kotb will return to “Today” on May 28 for the first time since her January departure, to serve as guest co-host in the fourth hour with Jenna Bush Hager. Kotb will also be a guest earlier in the broadcast to discuss a new project launch.

Netflix has added more names to its “Little House on the Prairie” reboot.Jocko Sims (“New Amsterdam”), Warren Christie (Hallmark movies), Meegwun Fairbrother (“The Sticky”), Wren Zhawenim Gotts (“Echo”) and Alyssa Wapanatâhk (“Riverdale”) have been tapped as series regulars, while Xander Cole (“Web of Spiderman”) will play a recurring role.

After 32,000 children auditioned for HBO Max’s new Harry Potter seriesthree newcomers have been cast in the principal roles. Dominic McLaughlin will play Harry Potter; Arabelle Stanton will portray Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout will assume the part of Ron Weasley. Francesca Gardiner, showrunner/executive producer, and Mark Mylod, director/executive producer, said in a joint statement, “The talent of these three unique actors is wonderful to behold, and we cannot wait for the world to witness their magic together onscreen. We would like to thank all the tens of thousands of children who auditioned. It’s been a real pleasure to discover the plethora of young talent out there.” The series will begin shooting this summer.

HBO Max’s season 2 finale of “The Last of Us” on May 25 netted 3.7 million viewers across all platforms. While it marks a 30% drop from the premiere, which pulled in 5.3 million viewers in April, season 2 (averaging 37 million viewers per episode to date) is outperforming season 1’s numbers (32 million average viewers after 90 days of viewing) of the hit series starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.
