LA mayor Karen Bass ordered city departments to cut regulations and streamline processes for local film and TV production. Bluesky is beta testing a new feature with the NBA. During games, a red border with a “live” designation will appear around posts from the NBA’s account. Actor George Wendt, best known for his role as Norm on “Cheers” (1982-93), died on May 20.
