“S.W.A.T.”, canceled after eight seasons on CBS, is getting a spinoff.Shemar Moore will reprise his role as Daniel “Hondo” Harrison on “S.W.A.T. Exiles,” from Sony Pictures Television. “My eight seasons on ‘S.W.A.T.’ have been epic and memorable,” said Moore. “We entertained the world, defied the odds, came back from the dead twice, and continued to woo fans and families worldwide.” SPT, which has ordered 10 episodes of the cop drama, will distribute the show globally.

“Sesame Street” and popular British kids show “Peppa Pig” have found a streaming home on Netflix. In addition to a reimagined 56th season of “Sesame Street,” Netflix will offer 90 hours of previous episodes. Under its deal with HBO Max, which ended in December, new episodes of “Sesame Street” ran first on the streamer, then on PBS months later. Now PBS stations and PBS KIDS will air new episodes on the same day they’re streamed on Netflix. “Peppa” fans can explore that preschool series through puzzles, mini-games, coloring books and more in an all-in-one app, along with new episodes of season seven. “Whether you love learning the letter of the day with Elmo or jumping in muddy puddles with Peppa, we have something for every kind of kid and every kind of family,” said the Netflix in a statement.

Syndicated talker “The Steve Wilkos Show” has been renewed for season 19. The daytime show, which airs in 87% of the country, is averaging 664,000 viewers, according to NBCUniversal Syndication Studios.
