The fiftieth season of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” has been very, very good to Peacock, generating an estimated $50 million in subscriber revenue in 2024, according to Parrot Analytics’ Streaming Economics data. In the fourth quarter of 2024, “SNL” drew $18.4 million in subscriber revenue for the streamer, matching the peak revenue the show earned across Hulu and Peacock when it was available on both platforms in 2Q22. Without taking ad revenue and other monetization channels into account, Peacock’s subscriber revenue covers roughly half the reported cost of producing a season of the late nighter.
