The Wonder Project landed a cast-contingent series order for “It’s Not Like That.” The drama follows two parents newly navigating singlehood. Series creators Ian Deitchman and Kristen Rob (“Off Campus”) serve as showrunners, and will exec produce alongside Jon Erwin, Justin Rosenblatt, Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten for The Wonder Project, Alex Goldstone for 42 & Anonymous Content and Kingdom Story Company.

Nat Geo greenlit four unscripted series. “The Real Finding Nemo” (w/t),from Freeborne Media, explores the underwater world; “Surviving Pompeii with Tom Hiddleston” (w/t), from executive producer Kevin R. Wright (“Loki”) and Plimsoll Productions, examines Pompeii’s catastrophe; “Meet the Planets” (w/t), from Ryan Reynold’s Maximum Effort and BBC Studios Science Unit, tells the story of the solar system; and “Diana: One Day in Paris,” part of the “One Day” franchise, retells the story of the tragic death of Princess Diana.

NBC is the latest network to set midseason premiere dates. In addition to a slew of returning series kicking off the second half of their seasons starting Monday, January 6, come the series debuts of “The Hunting Party” on Monday, February 3 at 10p, and “The Americas” (7p), “Suits LA” (9p), and “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” (10p) on Sunday, February 23.

YouTube is the priority platform for the sports industry due to its ability to reach, engage and monetize audiences, according to the Digital Trends Report 2025 from UK’s IMG. Ranked after YouTube are Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, with Reddit as the year’s biggest riser, climbing four places to sixth. As for AI, “Meta’s attempt to replicate one-to-one fan interactions at scale through AI celebrity chatbots demonstrated there is minimal appetite to engage with artificially created characters or celebrity interactions,” noted the report. “Fans want personalization, not personalities.”
