The CW is making a switch. Starting tomorrow, October 9, “Inside the NFL” will air Wednesdays at 9p, swapping time slots with drama “Joan,” which will now air Fridays at 9p. “Joan” debuted on October 2 to 290,000 total viewers.

Nicole Kidman and Per Saari’s Blossom Films and Bruna Papandrea and Steve Hutensky’s Made Up Stories are going back to the Liane Moriarty well for a series adaptation of the author’s latest novel, Here One Moment, reports Deadline. Kidman, Papandrea and Moriarty also collaborated on “Big Little Lies” and “Nine Perfect Strangers.” Fifth Season landed the screen rights and set up the project with Blossom and Made Up Stories.

NHL on TNT will enter its fourth season of coverage tomorrow, October 9with a doubleheader simulcast across TNT and Max, along with studio coverage featuring Wayne Gretzky, Calder Cup winner Paul Bissonnette, 10-year NHL veteran Anson Carter, Hockey Hall of Famer Henrik Lundqvist and host Liam McHugh. The night’s coverage will begin at 6p with a 90-minute “NHL on TNT Face Off Presented by Verizon” pregame show hosted by McHugh, joined by Gretzky, Carter, Bissonnette and Lundqvist.
