Five men have been convicted of operating illicit streaming service Jetflix. Disguised as an aviation company, Jetflix used sophisticated computer scripts and software to search pirate websites, downloading illegal copies of copyrighted materials for a catalog of content larger than Netflix, Hulu, Vudu and Prime Video combined. The five men, Kristopher Dallmann, Douglas Courson, Felipe Garcia, Jared Jaurequi and Peter Huber, were charged in 2019 with conspiring to violate federal criminal copyright law.

The late game show host Alex Trebek will live forever in the hearts of “Jeopardy!” fans, and now he’s being memorialized on a U.S. forever stamp. “This naturalized U.S. citizen hosted the quiz show ‘Jeopardy!’ for 37 seasons,” reads the stamp, with the response: “Who is Alex Trebek?” The stamp, which coincides with the game show’s 60th anniversary, comes out July 22. Trebek died November 8, 2020, at age 80.

Much-admired television executive Jamie Kellner has died at age 77. Kellner was the founding president of Fox Broadcasting, and former chairman and CEO of Turner Broadcasting System. “I don’t think there’s another person in the history of TV that can say they helped start two new major broadcast networks (Fox and The WB),” said producer Greg Berlanti. “Jamie Kellner was a titan and a visionary in our industry and yet he will be remembered by anyone lucky enough to work for him as an executive or as a showrunner as a warm, funny, charismatic, creative and kind mentor, friend, husband and Dad.”
