“Jimmy Kimmel Live” has announced its lineup of summer guest hosts, with comedian Martin Short slated to kick off the first week beginning on June 24, with guests including Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, Melissa McCarthy, Sienna Miller, Jelly Roll, and Beck, and musical performances by Imagine Dragons, Jelly Roll, Beck, and The Warning. Anthony Anderson, Kathryn Hahn, Kumail Nanjiani, Lamorne Morris, Jeff Goldblum, RuPaul, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are all set to guest host throughout the summer. Dates will be announced at a later time.

Patrick Dempsey has joined the cast of Paramount+ drama “Dexter: Original Sin” as a series regular and will play Aaron Spencer, the Captain of the Miami Metro Homicide who has a decades-long relationship with Harry Morgan (played by Christian Slater).

UCP and Jenna Bush Hager’s Thousand Voices, are teaming with Sue Naegle and Ali Krug’s Dinner Party Productions to develop a series adaptation of Chris Whitaker’s novel “All the Colors of the Dark.” Sarah Gubbins, writer/producer for “Pam & Tommy,” “Better Things” and co-creator of “I Love Dick,” will be adapting the project. Naegle, Krug, Hager, Ben Spector and Whitaker will serve as executive producers.

Lifetime has rounded out the cast for upcoming original movie “Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted by Love.” The feature will be headlined by Vaughn W. Hebron (“The Game: Reboot”), who also serves as co-producer, and Donna Biscoe (“The Supremes at Big Earl’s Cafe”). Additionally, Lela Rochon (“Any Given Sunday”) and Loretta Devine, (“Family Reunion”) who have both previously starred in Terry McMillan’s feature film, “Waiting to Exhale,” reunite to star in the film which debuts August 17th at 8p.

CBS Studios debuted the official trailer and key art for the second season of the original animated kids’ series “Star Trek: Prodigy,” with all 20 episodes slated to premiere July 1 on Netflix in select countries around the world. Paramount+ docuseries “Nöthin’ but a Good Time: The Uncensored Story of ‘80’s Hair Metal” will premiere on the service later this year. Paramount Network announced that “Yellowstone,” produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, will return on Sunday, November 10 at 8p. The series is currently filming in Montana. Internationally, “Yellowstone” will premiere on Paramount+ in Canada on November 10, the U.K. on November 11 and in Latin America, Brazil and France later in November.

Kelley and Andrew Zimmern, offers insight into the work of aquaculture and features Martha Stewart, Shailene Woodley and Baratunde Thurston, who connect with fishers, aqua farmers, and scientists who are harvesting aquatic species to feed our growing planet while saving our oceans. Stewart learns the ropes at a scallop farm in episode 2, scheduled to debut July 26 at 9p, sailing into Penobscot Bay where she cooks scallops and notes that Maine’s famous lobsters are now migrating further north in search of colder water.

TikTok has asked a federal appellate court to block a new law that could result in the social media site’s outright ban, arguing that the regulation is unconstitutional censorship. Congress passed the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act earlier this year, which bans web hosting services and apps from distributing TikTok unless its parent ByteDance sells its controlling interest within one year. ByteDance is based in China.

Nearly 1.2 million viewers watched France defeat Austria 1-0 in Monday’s UEFA European Championship Group Stage match on Fox, up 24% from the equivalent Monday Euro Group Stage telecast in 2021, according to Fox Sports. France-Austria peaked at 1.5 million viewers from 4:45 to 5p, with New Orleans (2.6/7), San Diego (1.7/13) and Miami (1.5/7) as the top local markets. Through Monday, the UEFA European Championship is averaging 1.116 million viewers across Fox and FS1, up 35% compared to the equivalent 2021 tournament to date.
