Casting has been announced for Paramount+’s upcoming series “Dexter: Original Sin” (fka “Dexter: Origins”). Patrick Gibson (“Shadow and Bone”) will play Dexter Morgan; Christian Slater (“Mr. Robot”) will play Dexter’s adoptive father and homicide detective; and Molly Brown (“Senior Year”) will take on the role of Dexter’s younger sister. Clyde Phillips (“Dexter”) will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the series, which takes place 15 years before viewers first met Dexter.

Production is underway on season two of Paramount + drama “Lioness,” the espionage thriller from Taylor Sheridan. The series, filming in Texas, features lead and executive producer Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, and executive producer Nicole Kidman.
