CNN said on Friday it will make its June 27 presidential debate, hosted by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, available for simulcast on any US network with a news division, and allow free entry to CNN.com to stream it. ABC News, host of a September 10 debate, had said on Wednesday it will provide its debate feed to other networks.

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Apollo Global Management have signed nondisclosure agreements with Paramount, enabling them to look at financial information, reports The New York Times. The companies had made a bid of $26 billion for Paramount, but shareholder concerns now have them evaluating different options. Although Paramount let an exclusive negotiating period with Skydance lapse earlier this month, that suitor is still in the picture.
