“The Forsyte Saga,” based on the novels by John Galsworthy, is being adapted as a TV series for the third time. The PBS Masterpiece series from Mammoth Screen (“Victoria”) will be written by Debbie Horsfield. Past versions premiered on the BBC in 1967, and ITV in 2002.

NBCUniversal is planning to make a bid in the neighborhood of $2.5 billion per year for a package of NBA games, reports The Wall Street Journal. The exclusive negotiating window for Warner Bros. Discovery to cut a deal for current partner TNT expired last week. TNT had paid an average of $1.2 billion under its deal. Disney is reportedly set to pay an average $2.6 billion per year, up from $1.5 billion.
