“American Masters” continues its series of Thought Leaders documentaries with the premiere of two new documentaries. “Moynihan,” which debuts Friday, March 29 at 9p on PBS (check local listings), is the first feature-length documentary to follow the life of former US Senator and diplomat Daniel Patrick Moynihan. “The Incomparable Mr. Buckley,” focused on William F. President Biden’s 2024 State of the Union address drew 32.8 million viewers across 14 networks, up 18% from last year. Nielsen reports 74% of viewers were 55 and over, 19% were A35-54 and 5% were A18-34. Fox News’ coverage of the address and the Republican response was the highest-rated program in television in viewers for the third consecutive year, averaging 5.8 million viewers and 1.0141 million in the 25-54 demo. From 8-11p, FNC delivered nearly 5 million viewers and 874,000 among A25-54.
