“Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” has been renewed for another three seasons, through 2026. HBO announced the deal as the current 10th season comes to a close this month. “We’re very happy to get to keep making this show with our fantastic staff,” said Oliver. “We will continue trying to stretch the term ‘entertainment’ to the breaking point.”

Also coming back is Apple TV+ drama “Foundation,” for season three.The series based on Isaac Asimov’s trilogy, starring Jared Harris and Lee Pace, hails from showrunner and EP David S. Goyer and Skydance Television. “I’m thrilled Apple has given us the opportunity to continue chronicling Asimov’s pioneering galactic saga,” said Goyer. “This time, the stakes for Foundation and Empire are even higher.”
