Starz is laying off about 10% of its staff and exiting the UK and Australia, CEO Jeffrey Hirsch informed employees on Friday. The moves come ahead of the premium network and streaming service’s spinoff from Lionsgate next year to become a separately traded company. “We are making these changes to align our organization with the growth areas of the business and to prepare us for our next chapter as a standalone company,” wrote Hirsch.

The Matthew Perry Foundation has been established to help those struggling with drug and alcohol abuse. “In the spirit of Matthew Perry’s enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction, we embark on a journey to honor his legacy by establishing the Matthew Perry Foundation, guided by his own words and experiences, and driven by his passion for making a difference in as many lives as possible,” said a release from the group. The foundation was formed after the death of Perry at 54 on October 28 and the subsequent outpouring of love for the “Friends” star. In a clip that has gone viral, Perry says in an interview, “When I die, I don’t want ‘Friends’ to be the first thing that’s mentioned. I want helping others to be the first thing that’s mentioned.”

AMC Networks added 100,000 subscribers in Q3. Following two consecutive quarters of subscriber decline, the network’s 2023 earnings report revealed it now stands at 11.1 million streaming subs (as of September 30), up 1% from the conclusion of Q2 in June.

The two-part documentary follows “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne’s road to the opening night of her Las Vegas residency.

Peacock, which has been streaming uncensored versions of some Bravo reunions, will now offer all of the drama-packed gatherings uncensored. During Friday’s “Ask Andy” panel at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas, Andy Cohen revealed that the platform will run the reunions the day following their Bravo airdate. “Every reunion is going to be f***ing uncensored,” said Cohen. “Isn’t it fun hearing the F-word? Marvel Studios’ “Echo” debuts January 10 on Disney+ and Hulu. The five-episode drama focuses on Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) as she is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) criminal empire. All five episodes will stream on January 10 on both platforms and will be available on Hulu until April 9. This marks the first Marvel Studios series to drop all episodes at once.

The cast for season 11 of “Vanderpump Rules” was announced at BravoCon. Along for the ride are Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, accompanied by friends Ally Lewber and Brock Davies. The season will air in January. Not coming back is Rachel Leviss, who has opted to focus on her mental health following her headline-making affair with Sandoval behind his then-girlfriend Madix’s back last season.
