Paramount+ and Sony Pictures Television have teamed up to bring “Twisted Metal” to Canada. Premiering August 10, the live-action adaptation of the PlayStation video game includes cast members Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatrice, Joe Seanoa and Neve Campbell. Will Arnett has signed on to executive produce, and also voices the character Sweet Tooth. All 10 episodes will drop on the premiere date, and will launch in other international territories on a later date.

Season two of “The White Lotus” cost nearly $40 million to make, according to a new MPA study. Approximately $35.8 million were for local goods and services, with the remaining funds ( about $8.9 million) spent on wages and salaries for the 1,500 full and part-time jobs created through HBO’s investment. According to the MPA, the total rises to $42.2 million when including indirect costs.
