Netflix scored the most nominees among streamers for the 2023 HCA TV Awards, with 56. HBO topped cable with 53 nods. Series with the most nominations include Showtime’s “Yellowjackets” and Prime Video’s “The Boys” with 14 each; ABC’s “Abbott Elementary” with 13; Starz reboot “Party Down” with 12; and Prime Video’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” with 11.

Kristen Kish, season 10 winner of Bravo’s “Top Chef,” will return to the show as host for Wisconsin-set season 21. “Kristen Kish represents everything that makes ‘Top Chef’ incredibly special,” said Ryan Flynn, SVP, Current Production, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “She’s an acclaimed chef and her experience as a cheftestant, winner and judge, alongside her culinary curiosity, makes Kristen the perfect host for the next chapter of ‘Top Chef’ as we take on a new region of the country we haven’t explored.” Kish replaces Padma Lakshmi, who served as host of the culinary competition for the last 19 seasons.

A federal judge has ruled the Federal Trade Commission failed to prove Microsoft’s $70 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard would result in a substantial reduction in competition and harm consumers.
