May 2 will be Chris Licht’s first official day as Chairman and CEO of CNN – and his last day on Twitter, he announced (via Twitter) on Monday. “Twitter can be a great journalistic tool, but it can also skew what’s really important in the world,” wrote Licht. “I’m logging off & looking forward to working with the incredible team at CNN.” Licht, former executive producer for “The Late Show,” is replacing Jeff Zucker.

Investors reached a $14.75 million settlement in a securities lawsuit against Les Moonves and CBS Corp. (now Paramount Global). The suit claimed that the company made false and misleading statements or omissions that caused the stock to trade at artificially inflated prices until sexual misconduct allegations against then-CEO Moonves were made public. CBS argued it was not obligated to share allegations of sexual misconduct.

Disney+’s “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” has been renewed for a second season, which will include guest stars Chance the Rapper, Gabrielle Union, Normani, Leslie Odom Jr., Anthony Anderson, Dominique Dawes, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Jane Lynch, Holly Robinson Peete, Maury Povich, Storm Reid, Courtney B. Vance and Lana Mendoza. The season one finale of the Disney Television Animation series begins streaming Wednesday, April 20.
