Actor Gavin MacLeod died May 29 at age 90. Best known for playing Murray Slaughter on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and Captain Stubing on “The Love Boat,” MacLeod more recently guested on shows including “Jag,” “Touched by an Angel” and “Oz,” and hosted Trinity Broadcasting Network’s “Back on Course” with his wife. “My heart is broken,” posted MacLeod’s friend and “MTM Show” co-star Ed Asner. “Gavin was my brother, my partner in crime (and food) and my comic conspirator.”

UK producer Charlie Hanson has been booted from Netflix’s “After Life” after accusations of sexual misconduct surfaced from 11 women. “Whilst the allegations are unrelated to his time on the show, we immediately removed him from the production and referred the matter to the police,” said a spokesperson for the Ricky Gervais comedy. Hanson labeled the accusations “demonstrably false.”
