CBS Evening News’ relocation to Washington D.C. is official, with the Norah O’Donnell-led team now broadcasting from the capital. “Our move to Washington, D.C., allows Norah to bring viewers the heart of the story from the center of where everything is happening,” said the show’s executive producer, Jay Shaylor. “Being based in the nation’s capital allows us to showcase Norah’s exceptional skills as a reporter, while still bringing our audience the in-depth investigations, powerful storytelling and worldwide reach people expect from CBS News.” O’Donnell was named anchor of the program in May.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg isn’t backing down on his company’s policy of allowing misleading political ads. “What I believe is that in a democracy it’s really important that people can see for themselves what politicians are saying, so they can make their own judgments,” he told CBS This Morning’s Gayle King. “I don’t think that a private company should be censoring politicians or news.”

Kendall Jenner will executive produce a short-form series for Quibi about her “fraternal twin” Kirby Jenner – actually a performance artist known for his Instagram-based parody – with her mom Kris Jenner, McG (The Babysitter), Howie Mandel, Ryan Seacrest, Mary Viola, Ali Brown, Rami Hachache and Gil Goldshein. Actress Shelley Morrison died December 1 of heart failure. She was 83. Said Morrison’s husband Walter Dominguez of his wife, best known to TV audiences for her role on Will & Grace, “Shelley’s greatest pride as an actress was in playing the indomitable Rosario in a comedy series that furthered the cause of social equity and fairness for L.G.B.T.Q. people. She also took pride in portraying a strong, loving yet feisty Latina character.”
