The CW Dog Honors have been scheduled for Wednesday, January 15 at 8p, with Mario Lopez hosting a broadcast that will see canines fetching awards like Top TV Dog, Pawpular, and Celebrity Dog Selfie. “The CW Dog Honors is a special which brings together two guaranteed winning components, celebrities and their love for their canine family members,” JUMA President Robert Horowitz tells Cynopsis. “Mario Lopez proves the point as he’ll be joined at the party and in the show by his daughter Gia, and the Lopez’s French Bulldog, Julio.” The event will be filmed during a studio lot party at CBS Radford Studios. “By using a Hollywood studio as a backdrop for the party, we’re breaking away from the traditional theater-style award show format,” said Horowitz.
