Disney on Friday finalized its deal to sell off 21 Fox regional sports networks to Sinclair Broadcast Group; the transaction is valued at $10.6 billion. Last year, the 21 channels delivered $3.8 billion in revenue across 74 million subscribers. Entertainment Studios chief Byron Allen is teaming with Sinclair as an equity partner in the newly formed Diamond Holding Group, which covers outlets serving major markets around the country. The RSNs have local rights to a total of 42 professional teams, comprising teams in Major League Baseball, the NBA and the NHL.

ABC News Good Morning America dropped the lineup for its 2019 Summer Concert Series. K-pop megagroup BTS will kick off the series on Wednesday, May 15. Other artists to be featured in Central Park include Bastille, Chance the Rapper, Ciara, Ellie Goulding, Hozier, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban and Kane Brown & Marshmello.

In his new tome, former Saturday Night Live actor Chris Kattan claims he broke his neck during an SNL sketch in 2001. In an interview with Variety, he said he told SNL exec producer Lorne Michaels and producer Ken Aymong about the accident and Aymong promised to “take care of it.” Kattan said NBC paid for two of the five surgeries he had over the years. Kattan’s book will be released tomorrow (May 7).

NBC’s fifth Red Nose Day Special, airing Thursday, May 23 at 8p, will bring together television, film and musical talent including Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Kate McKinnon and Lilly Singh to raise money for children in need. Viewers will also catch a mini-sequel of the film Four Weddings and a Funeral, titled One Red Nose Day and a Wedding. The film catches up with the characters played by Hugh Grant, Andie McDowell, Kristin Scott Thomas, Rowan Atkinson and more from the original cast, reuniting 25 years after the original release. Also featured will be a short film of Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us) traveling to Kenya to see firsthand how Red Nose Day funds are changing lives.
