After a week in which each show hit a ratings low, NBC is swapping Tuesday timeslots for The Village and The Voice, moving the scripted show to 8p and the singing competition to 9p. New Amsterdam is staying put at 10p. The move takes into account the higher percentage of delayed viewing for The Village – with fewer people watching early primetime after the change to Daylight Saving Time, the early slot will have less impact on its audience than on that of The Voice, which is more likely to be watched live. A fresh season of America’s Got Talent and new series Songland take over Tuesdays starting May 28.

Lear and Kimmel will host the show, which will be directed by 10-time Emmy winner James Burrows. Woody Harrelson has the role of Archie Bunker, joined by Marisa Tomei as Edith Bunker; Jamie Foxx and Wanda Sykes are playing George and Louise Jefferson. Following the breakdown in negotiations between the Writers Guild and the Association of Talent Agents, the WGA said last week that today, April 22, agencies including UTA, CCA, ICM Partners and WME will receive letters from writers that sever ties with unfranchised agencies. The guild directed its members to sign a statement of support intended to “confront practices that constitute a conflict of interest: agency packaging fees and agencies functioning as producers.” The letters were originally to be delivered on Friday, but the holiday weekend prompted a postponement.

In response to the WGA encouraging its members to allow their lawyers and managers to procure employment for them in place of agents, ATA executive director Karen Stuart said the organization was “evaluating all legal options to address this unlawful conduct.” Among the tools the WGA has developed to help agent-less writers get work is its new “Weekly Feature Memo,” a list of available spec scripts and pitches sent to producers and development executives every Friday.

Instagram is exploring the idea of hiding the amount of Likes a post gets, so users don’t have to feel self-conscious about how their counts match up to more popular posters. Only users would see a post’s Like counts. “We want your followers to focus on what you share, not how many likes your posts get. During this test, only the person who shares a post will see the total number of likes it gets,” read a design change test spotted by TechCrunch tipster Jane Manchun Wong.
