Disney released new details about its family focused streaming service, which has a name: Disney+. The direct to consumer service is slated to launch in late 2019 and will offer original and library content across Disney’s major entertainment brands, Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, as well as programming from National Geographic. As for the exclusive content on the service, CEO Big Iger teased some of it during Disney’s fourth quarter earnings call, including a live-action prequel series that’s based on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The CW showed confidence in its three new fall series, issuing orders for additional episodes to all of them, on the eve of their debuts. Charmed got a back nine order, bringing its Season 1 total to 22 episodes. Legacies and All American each added three more episodes, bringing their total to 16.

Netflix is the number one source for watching favorite TV programs, according to Hub’s latest “Conquering Content” study. Thirty-two percent of those surveyed said they use the streaming service to watch their favorite show, versus 26% who watch on traditional live TV. Sir David Attenborough has been tapped to narrate Netflix’s original wildlife documentary Our Planet. The series, which is produced by Silverback Films in collaboration with conservation group WWF, takes a look at Earth’s most precious species and fragile habitats, via 4k cameras.
