Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who stars in and executive produces Power on Starz, has inked a four-year overall deal estimated at $150 million with the cabler. Starz CEO Chris Albrecht said the pact is “among the most significant deals to date for an executive producer in premium television.” Jackson will continue to develop new scripted and unscripted projects exclusively for Starz through his G-Unit Film & Television, Inc. banner. The pact also includes a three-series commitment, as well as the addition of a dedicated development executive accompanied by a discretionary fund to help develop G-Unit projects.

Veteran magazine editor and former CCO of Hearst Magazines, Joanna Coles  is joining CBS This Morning as a creative adviser. CBS News President David Rhodes revealed the news to staffers on Thursday, noting that Cole’s role will be part time. “Initially, Joanna will be engaged with the CBS This Morning team and will weigh in on other strategic opportunities.
