The journalist has been promoted to CBS News White House correspondent, reporting for all CBS broadcasts and platforms. “Over the past several months, Weijia Jiang has consistently shown that she has what it takes to cover this White House – she asks the right questions, she provides context and depth, and she is fast on her feet,” said Christopher Isham, CBS News VP and Washington Bureau Chief. National Geographic named Josh Elliott host of summer event Yellowstone Live. The four-night broadcast will sweep through 34,000 miles of Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding area in real time, with Fox Sports 1’s Jenna Wolfe serving as roving reporter and zoologist Chris Packham joining Elliott in the studio.

As HBO integrates into AT&T post Time Warner merger, “It’s going to be a tough year,” John Stankey, chief exec of Warner Media, warned employees at a town hall meeting. “It’s going to be a lot of work to alter and change direction a little bit.” Much of that work will involve increasing the time viewers spend watching HBO. “I want more hours of engagement,” said Stankey. “Why are more hours of engagement important? Because you get more data and information about a customer that then allows you to do things like monetize through alternate models of advertising as well as subscriptions.”

NBCU sibs Syfy and USA Network will simulcast the Harry Potter Wizarding Weekend from July 13-15, as the new U.S. homes to the Wizarding World franchise.
