It’s a thumb’s up from the Department of Justice for Disney’s $71.3 billion acquisition of select assets of 21st Century Fox, under the condition Disney divest Fox’s 22 regional sports nets. Comcast had offered $65 billion earlier this month, spurring Disney to raise its offer, and some analysts have reported Comcast is exploring options to up its ante.

California Gov. Jerry Brown signed a a five-year extension of the state’s film incentives program, extending the production tax credit system to 2025. Facebook launched a feature that enables users the option to temporarily block posts from showing up in their News Feed. “Keyword Snooze” works in a similar way as the Snooze feature Facebook debuted in December that effectively lets users temporarily quiet select “friends” on the social platform.
