Last Man Standing, canceled by ABC in May 2016, is in the early stages of making a comeback on FOX. Star and EP Tim Allen has reportedly closed a deal to return, and 20th Century Fox TV is in talks with other cast members and the show’s creative team. “They heard your voices people!! Nominations for the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards were announced on Thursday. While Oscar Best Picture winner The Shape of Water was shut out, Black Panther scored seven nominations. On the television front, Netflix’s Stranger Things snagged a leading six nominations, including Best Show, for which it will compete with 13 Reasons Why (Netflix), Game of Thrones (HBO), grown-ish (Freeform) and Riverdale (The CW). Ceremony airs Monday, June 18 at 9p from Los Angeles and will be hosted by Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), who’s also a nominee for Best Comedic Performance.

Conan O’Brien and TBS expanded their partnership through a new joint venture spanning television, digital, social and live events that will enable the late-night host to interact with his fan base across platforms. O’Brien’s show will continue to air four nights a week on TBS, and in 2019 will unveil a new, less structured 30-minute format. “It’s still going to be me, hosting a very silly show, but I want segments on my half-hour program to link to digital content, deepening the experience for my younger fans, and confusing my older ones,” explained O’Brien.
