After Deadline reported that Fox’s Lethal Weapon was in danger of cancellation due to outbursts by one of the series’ stars, Clayne Crawford, the actor admitted to being reprimanded for two incidents, once for reacting in anger amid “working conditions that did not feel safe,” and once for “an unfortunate event” involving a piece of shrapnel that occurred when he was directing an episode. “I am incredibly sorry if my passion for doing good work has ever made anyone feel less than comfortable on our set, or feel less than celebrated for their efforts,” said Crawford, who also apologized for “any negative attention Lethal Weapon is receiving because of these incidents.”
