Jennifer Garner is headed back to the small screen. The Alias alum will star in half-hour comedy Camping, which received an eight-episode order from HBO. The project is based on the British series created by Julia Davis and hails from Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner. Production begins in LA this spring.

FOX’s high-profile vampire project drama pilot, from Liz Heldens, Matt Reeves, Scott Free and 20th Century Fox TV and starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, has been reconceived. New footage is being shot in Atlanta in March by new director Jason Ensler, EP and director of the FOX/20th Century Fox TV horror drama series The Exorcist. Storylines of three characters in the original pilot have been scratched and actors Genesis Rodriguez, BJ Britt and Jennifer Ferrin are exiting the project.

Political podcast Pod Save America has found a new home at HBO.
