Univision and Telemundo will team for the first time to simulcast a concert to benefit the victims of recent natural disasters. One Voice: Somos Live! A Concert for Disaster Relief will air on the Spanish-language networks beginning at 8p, with NBC joining at 10p to broadcast in English. Among the performers in LA and Miami will be Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Stevie Wonder, Maroon 5, Gwen Stefani, Prince Royce and Ricky Martin, along with a slew of celeb supporters. Sponsor support comes from Sprint, Banco Popular and Walmart.

BET’s Being Mary Jane will end with a 2-hour movie in 2018. “Being Mary Jane has been a landmark series not only for BET, but for African American women around the world who saw themselves in Mary Jane, her family, friends and coworkers,” said Connie Orlando, EVP and head of programming, BET Networks. “We look forward to closing out Mary Jane’s journey with a series finale that is sure to blow fans away!” Season 4 finale aired September 19.

Watch What Happens Live’s Andy Cohen will join Anderson Cooper as co-host of CNN’s 11th New Year’s Eve telecast. “I’ve been friends with Anderson Cooper for 25 years. We’ve traveled the world together and performed in 30 plus cities with ‘AC2’ and it’s all led to this one huge night!” Cooper’s previous New Year’s Eve partner in crime, Kathy Griffin, lost the job in May after a photo showed her holding up the “decapitated” head of Donald Trump.

NBC News president Noah Oppenheim told staffers Wednesday that despite Ronan Farrow’s contention that NBC could have run with Farrow’s explosive expose on Harvey Weinstein that ended up in The New Yorker, “the incredible story that we all read yesterday was not the story we were looking at when we made our judgment several months ago.” Farrow told the host of MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show that she would have to ask NBC News, where he started the story, why it didn’t break there. “The notion that we would try to cover for a powerful person is deeply offensive to all of us,” said Oppenheim. Later on CNN, Farrow declined to continue the conversation, telling Jake Tapper, “I truly do think it’s important to stay focused on the women.”

ITV Studios America finalized a first-look, two-year deal with actor/director/producer Daniel Dae Kim and his production company 3AD. Kim’s 3AD brought the original Korean format to the US to become this season’s #1 rated new drama series, The Good Doctor; Kim serves as executive producer together with David Shore. Kim left his role on CBS’s Hawaii Five-0 after 7 years after failed salary negotiations.
