Fox Inclusion is accepting applications for the 2018 Fox Writers Lab, a program designed both to nurture writers with unique voices and life experiences, and create a pipeline of well-rounded talent for potential staffing on Fox productions. Eight writers will be selected to participate in the program; one will receive a blind script deal with Fox Broadcasting Co. Participants from last season’s program became staff writers on current Fox series including Lucifer and The Last Man On Earth, as well as 20th Century Fox Television’s Fresh Off the Boat.

New project Find The Good is in development at NBC. The family drama, written by writer/producer Geoffrey Nauffts (Nashville), is based on the 2014 memoir by best-selling author Heather Lende. Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty wrapped its third season with the highest ratings in network history. Sunday’s season 3 finale drew a 3.9 in A18-24 and a 3.2 in A18-34 in Live+ same day, and was the most-watched telecast of the day across cable with A18-24, A18-34 and A18-49, according to Adult Swim and Nielsen.
