The Walking Dead’s Season 7 premiere scored some of its best ratings to date: The season opener was seen by 17 million viewers in Live+SD, up 16 percent from last year’s debut (14.6 million) and on par with the Season 5 premiere (17.3 million). In A18-49, the episode averaged an 8.4 rating (10.7 million viewers), up 14 percent from last year (7.3 million). Aftershow The Talking Dead scored its largest audience ever, 7.6 million viewers (up 34 percent from last fall’s premiere) and a 3.7 rating with A18-49.

There’s a new judge headed to Hot Bench. Judge Michael Corriero is joining Judge Patricia DiMango and Judge Tanya Acker beginning Tuesday, November 1. “I am thrilled to introduce Judge Michael Corriero to the Hot Bench audience,” said the show’s creator, Judge Judy Sheindlin. “We first met as young lawyers.
