Criminal Minds star Thomas Gibson has been suspended for at least one episode, after a physical altercation with a writer-producer on the set of the CBS drama, according to Deadline. In a statement to the website, Gibson said: “There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred. We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and we always will.”

IFC has partnered with Rotten Tomatoes to air the worst of the worst on “Rotten Fridays.” Namely, movies that are so bad, they’re good. Stunt starts Friday, August 12 at 8p, with a double feature of The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear, followed by Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult. TBS is injecting a little groove into its original series lineup. The net has ordered Drop the Mic from producers James Corden and Ben Winston. The concept, which is already a huge viral and digital success as an ongoing segment on Late Late Show with James Corden, pits four celebrities against each other in a rap battle royale. Show is slated to join the TBS lineup in 2017.

Recently axed Saturday Night Live vets Jay Pharoah and Taran Killam have found a new home at Showtime. Both were announced as stars of new comedy pilots. Pharoah joins Jamie Foxx’s White Famous, while Killam heads to the Jason Katims-produced Mating, which has been officially picked up.
