Domestic diva Martha Stewart and rapper Snoop Dogg are teaming for a reality series greenlit by VH1. Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party (wt) “will redesign the traditional food competition in a new, different and very funny way,” said Stewart. “My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes way back,” added Snoop Dogg. “Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!” Stewart and Snoop Dogg have appeared together on shows including $100,000 Pyramid and Stewart’s talker.

OWN gave an eight-episode order to The Book of John (wt) from Leftfield Pictures. The dramedy/docu-series focused on the associate pastor at Joel Osteen’s famous Lakewood Church in Houston will join OWN’s Saturday night lineup in the spring. Renewed for Saturdays is docu-series For Peete’s Sake, and the net picked up 13 additional episodes of hit series Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s.
