The Telemundo News team is traveling to Cleveland and Philadelphia to produce six special programs, covering the top moments of the presidential nominating conventions. According to a new report Monday by New York magazine, Roger Ailes days at Fox News could be coming to a close. The report, by Gabriel Sherman, said that Rupert Murdoch and his sons, James and Lachlan, have decided to remove the exec from his post following the sexual-harassment lawsuit leveled against him by former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson. Citing unnamed sources, the report suggested the execs, who run Fox News parent 21st Century Fox, were considering different strategies to have Ailes step down. “This matter is not yet resolved and the review is not concluded,” 21st Century Fox said in a statement.

After months of hearing that HBO’s Game of Thrones would consist of fewer episodes than usual and debut later, it was officially announced on Monday that the show’s new season will bow in a summer 2017 and consist of seven episodes. The series usually begins its seasons in April each year, so a shift to summer means Game of Thrones will be out of the running for TV Academy voters next year. Arnold Schwarzenegger and creator Michael Konyves have inked a deal with CBS Television Studios to develop Pump, a drama based on Schwarzenegger’s bodybuilding youth in Venice Beach gyms. Hollywood publicist David H. Horowitz died Sunday, July 17 at his home in Los Angeles. He was 86. Among his credits, Horowitz crafted successful Oscar campaigns for Best Picture winners The Lord of The Rings: Return of The King, The Silence of the Lambs and Dances With Wolves.
