ABC News will deliver 24-hour live coverage of the 2016 Republican and Democratic national conventions on Facebook under a partnership with the social giant. Throughout each day and between the primetime speeches, ABC News’ Facebook feed will provide live video of interviews, protests and other breaking news. Facebook will provide ABC News with exclusive, real-time data during major speeches that it will use across TV and digital platforms. Hosts and correspondents will also incorporate viewer comments and questions in its Facebook Live coverage.

Samantha Bee, host of TBS late-night series Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, presents A Very Special Full Frontal Special, bowing Wednesday, July 20 at 10:30p. Bee and the show’s writers begin a road trip to Ohio, ending up at the Republican National Convention as Donald Trump prepares to accept the presidential nomination. According to a TBS press release, “The journey is akin to Sam and Frodo heading toward Mount Doom. In this case, Mount Doom is Cleveland. Along the way, they accidentally discover America and the concerned, excited, and largely baffled people who live in it.”

According to a new report Monday by New York magazine, Roger Ailes days at Fox News could be coming to a close. The report, by Gabriel Sherman, said that Rupert Murdoch and his sons, James and Lachlan, have decided to remove the exec from his post following the sexual-harassment lawsuit leveled against him by former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson. Citing unnamed sources, the report suggested the execs, who run Fox News parent 21st Century Fox, were considering different strategies to have Ailes step down. “This matter is not yet resolved and the review is not concluded,” 21st Century Fox said in a statement.

iHeartMedia announced the return of the 2016 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina to the American Airlines Arena in Miami on Saturday, November 5, 2016. The third annual concert will feature performances by Enrique Iglesias, Juanes, Nicky Jam, Yandel, Gente de Zona, Intocable, J Balvin, Daddy Yankee and Pitbull. For the second year, the fiesta will also include a special TV re-broadcast on Telemundo in November and will video stream live exclusively on TELEMUNDO.com for fans across the U.S.. USA Network has moved the premiere date of Shooter to fall. The move comes as gun violence has overtaken the news, with fatal shootings in Orlando, Minnesota, Baton Rouge and Dallas, generating media scrutiny and protests. Production continues on the series, but no specific premiere date has been set. Shooter stars Ryan Phillippe as a sniper and U.S. military vet who tries to clear his name after being wrongly accused of a crime.

Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) is set to make her directorial debut with Lifetime movie Story Of A Girl, based on the novel by Sara Zarr. Sedgick’s husband Kevin Bacon (The Following) stars in the project, which centers on a teen who must deal with the ramifications of a sex video that goes viral. Production beginning September in Vancouver for a 2017 debut.

After months of hearing that HBO’s Game of Thrones would consist of fewer episodes than usual and debut later, it was officially announced on Monday that the show’s new season will bow in a summer 2017 and consist of seven episodes. The series usually begins its seasons in April each year, so a shift to summer means Game of Thrones will be out of the running for TV Academy voters next year. According to Primetime Emmy rules, to be eligible a show must run between June 1 and May 31.

Zelda Williams will be the voice behind Freeform’s The Letter, a one-hour unscripted relationship show where friends challenge each other to better themselves through anonymous letters written to one other. Williams, who currently stars as Drew on the net’s Dead of Summer, will also serve as producer on the project. Series bows later this year.

The Mist began principal photography in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Monday.Spike TV ordered the series adapted from the Stephen King novella, which tells the story of a foreboding mist that arrives in a small town. “We intend to see this series develop into a signature show for Spike, and after hearing the pitch for Nova Scotia, we felt confident that the look, feel and the overall attitude of the province were right for this project,” said Sharon Levy, EVP, Original Series, Spike. Series premieres in 2017.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and creator Michael Konyves have inked a deal with CBS Television Studios to develop Pump, a drama based on Schwarzenegger’s bodybuilding youth in Venice Beach gyms. The series was originally sold to Showtime in 2013, but then moved to Hulu. No network is attached as of yet. “The 70’s were such a colorful, transformational time, for me and for our entire country,” said Schwarzenegger. “I look forward to bringing that color to people’s living rooms with the fantastic, deep characters and the multi-layered story lines of ‘Pump.”

Former Extra host Jon Kelley has joined Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios in a multi-platform content deal. Kelley assumes hosting and producing duties on several ES television properties, including the celebrity interview series Entertainers and the sports profile series The American Athlete.He will also produce content for ES’ video news platform, TheGrio.com, which Allen purchased, last month. “I’m thrilled to join Entertainment Studios, an organization with tremendous creative energy and amazing growth,” said Kelley.
