Lionsgate told analysts yesterday fans are “clamoring” for more seasons of the company’s drama Nashville, which ABC canceled after four seasons. That’s likely the reason the show’s final ABC airing on Wednesday night felt more like a cliffhanger than a finale. The company also said it is working on stories for a potential next season. Bravo Media is adding seven new unscripted projects to its development slate. In the works are: Look Who’s Hosting Live, featuring Andy Cohen giving celebs the opportunity to host their own live late night talk show, for one night only; Employee of the Month, starring a fish-out-of-water Ryan Serhant (Million Dollar Listing New York) teaming with under-performing sales reps that deal in anything from cars to seafood to caskets; rival agency series Real Estate Wars; Stripped, based on the hit Scandinavian format where a social experiment tests materialistic individuals who agree to be stripped of everything they own; and I’d Kill for That, a physical game show that tests how far contestants would go to win the likes of a Birkin bag. There’s also State of Affairs, featuring no-nonsense infidelity expert Dr. Lisa Paz; and Invitation Only, a docu-series where one person will invite a handful of their closest friends from different phases in their life to meet for the very first time and embark on an incredible getaway. “With this development slate we are building on Bravo’s robust and successful tradition of buzzy, unique format shows,” said Lara Spotts, SVP of development. “It’s a diverse collection of shows which all include the signature Bravo wink and delicious drama that our viewers love to unwind to.”
